Denis Johnson, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Founder of Concept Training Seminars, Inc., Dr. Johnson has designed and conducted training programs in communication skills, stress management, and management/supervisory development throughout the country for more than fifteen years.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a Ph.D. in Psychology, Dr. Johnson taught college for 18 years before establishing Concept Training. Dr. Johnson taught at Rutgers University as well as Montclair State University during his career as a college professor.
Dr. Johnson is a consultant and trainer for Human Synergistics, an international consulting firm, and a management and communication consultant to the New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Banking. A powerful motivational speaker, Dr. Johnson has conducted numerous executive workshops and retreats.
Dr. Johnson is in much demand as a dinner speaker. His mini-programs in listening, speaking, writing, and stress have delighted, entertained and educated many audiences of professionals. His program, Listening to Learn has been utilized by many colleges to improve faculty instruction and interaction.
Dr. Johnson has also conducted seminars in conjunction with The Sea Pines Academy of Golf in Sea Pines (Hilton Head Island, SC), working jointly with Don Trahan, PGA (one of Golf Magazines top 50 golf instructors). These sessions combine human resource training with golf instruction for a delightful combination of instruction.
Dr. Johnson resides in Nutley, NJ with his wife, Barbara; a golf enthusiast who sports a 3 handicap.

Ms. Rowan has over 15 years of consultation, program design, and training in the areas of organizational development, career management, and performance management.
Dorine Nicol,
Director: Employer Employee Relations
Ms. Nicol brings over sixteen years of diversified human resources experience with Midlantic Bank. Experience in dealing with employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and compensation issues. Background in development of policy and procedure manuals to support the culture of the organization.
Her specialties include hiring/firing practices, interviewing techniques, human resource development, and the legal aspects of employment.
Ms. Nadine Metta, M.A.
Project Design & Program Training
Ms. Metta brings fifteen years of training design and delivery to Concept Training. She has extensive experience in both the pharmaceutical and banking industries. As a training coordinator with Hoffman-La Roche, Inc. Ms. Metta designed and conducted specialized team-building programs for International cross-matrix teams. A major focus of this training was to break down the cultural and perceptual barriers of various team members.
Michael McMahon, M.A., M.Ed.
Communication Specialist
Mr. McMahon brings over twenty-five years of classroom instruction to his programs. He specializes in oral presentation skills, business writing, rapid reading, and team building. Mr. McMahon also specializes in one-on-one development for specific remediation.
Judith Kass, M.B.A.
Placement Specialist
Ms. Kass specializes in selection interviewing, career planning, outplacement counseling, resume writing, management development, and team building. She has conducted numerous workshops for Drake Beam as well as Concept Training.
